CRUISE IN FOR AN IMPROMPTU CAR SHOW OR JUST BRING THE MINI-VAN AND THE FAMILY
Jack Davis says he’ll have plenty of on-site parking at Maserati of Baltimore that afternoon and evening for cruise-in show cars or tailgaters outdoors. There are 60+ spaces for sunny weather conditions, and can easily accommodate have 200+ people indoors in the event of rain. Any folks who wish to bring a showcase vehicle that need to arrange indoor parking for the event should contact Jack Davis directly at mobexotics@gmail.com (especially if visiting form out of town). The party will be an informal gathering of friends and ladies Derby Hats are welcome. The facility is handicapped access friendly.
BYO-PARTY
If you choose to bring an appetizer dish or beverage to share with the group in addition to your own meals, snacks or goodies we are encouraging folks to bring enough for themselves + 8-10 servings. If we have a small crowd (under 30), we’ll have enough for everyone to enjoy fully and if we have a larger crowd (50+), then we’ll do smaller appetizer portions so everyone can enjoy sharing. If you know what you’ll be bringing, post a little confirmation comment on the RSVP thread wall so everyone knows and send a little note to connectionsprep@gmail.com so we can make sure the right tables and serving appointments are ready as necessary.

BECOME A MEDIA PARTNER OR SPONSOR OF AN ITALIANIZZATO CLUB EVENT
Regarding how to get involved as an event or media partner for the promotion of any event: if you are a small business owner and would like to set up a vendor table for the day of the event, we encourage you to contact us. We’ve asked vendors to be on site and set up early to work with walk in traffic throughout the day in order to promote attendance at the event. We’re encouraging those folks to share an eblast invitation to their clients this week. Though we do not expect this to be one of our normal huge events (as it is an informal occasion), it is a fun way to spend the day and to have pictures of your trade wares or art taken alongside some amazingly pristine Maseratis, Lamborghinis, and Ferraris and to meet those other club members who participate with charity benefits and other trade shows throughout the region. Last but not least, if you are a member of a car club or online forum, please create a thread for this get together and help us invite the public. It will be a great spot to post pictures after the event, and a way to build guest attendance for future events. With so many Italianizzato events promoting various wonderful charities and so often including all ages of family, coming to our events is a great way to promote a stronger and more connected sense of community (especially by being able to share event experiences with close personal friends and family).

Summit Point Track Event Saturday May 9th, 2009 Welcomes All Car and Motorcycle Lovers in the Community
SPRING SEASON BRINGS ROAD TRIP, SOCIAL, AND RACE TRACK DRIVING OPPORTUNITY TO CAR LOVERS IN BALTIMORE COUNTY
It’s officially Spring in the Mid-Atlantic region and Italianizzato Club Drivers are hitting the roads to participate in special events while out and about in their East Coast communities.
The Washington, D.C. Cherry Blossom Festival has passed, having brought a welcomed pink and white blossom ribbon of color that wrapped the capital of our country in lovely spring light. Passover, Easter, and Spring Break celebrations throughout the region brought family members to and away from homes with the seasonal wave of travelers commuting via I-95, BWI, and Penn Station.
Even the daily grind of commuter traffic seems a bit friendlier due to the recent roadside green growth and annual blooming daffodil activity—bringing auto enthusiasts’ attention to upcoming rallies, car clubs, and outdoor recreational activity.

SUMMIT POINT RACEWAY SPRING OPEN HOUSE PROMISES FAMILY FUN
To kick off of the 2009 Spring and Summer driving season, auto dealers Apple Valley Chevrolet, Toyota-Scion, Guy’s Buick-Pontiac-GMC, and Thomassen Ford-Mercury-Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep will be joining up with Summit Point Motorsports Park (a favorite hangout of the Ferrari Club of the Mid-Atlantic Region) to host the 1st Annual “Family Fun in the Park”.
Saturday May 9th between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., the track is inviting Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia, and West Virginia residents of all ages the chance to experience an unusual event in Motorsports History: the first annual Spring open house at the Summit Point Raceway– a genuine Race Track experience for aspiring race drivers that’s open to the community.
Participating dealerships will be onsite with displays and offering car and truck rides around the famous Shenandoah Circuit race track. The event will also offer additional activities that will require pre-registration including an autocross event, high performance driver training for cars and, and an Accident Avoidance class. With the price of admission at just $10.00 per carload, it’s definitely an event offering and awesome assortment of outdoor family fun Motorsports-oriented “things to do”.

As a fun way for friends and families to take in the Summit Point Raceway atmosphere while learning more about vehicles and driving safety from professionals, the event is a “must add” to daybooks of car lovers in the Greater Baltimore community. Don’t forget to bring your camera, video camera, and sunscreen–it sure to be an exciting day with ample opportunities to capture the spirit of Motorsports history in the making.
